Wanted these for bedroom/bathroom doors. Screws far too long. Not yet found antique brass screws suitable so currently waste of money. If I find suitable screws they will be a good purchase

Looks good but actually a very poor design. Bought 6, only manage to screw in 3, then the next one broke off. Metal fatigue as being screwed in. Definately need a master hole to be drilled.
Also if you try to unscrew, the hook comes off leaving the screw in situ.

Hook is brilliant and of good quality and design. The supplies screws aren’t sufficient for hard wood (I’ve had to replace all of them to go into oak even with pilot holes drilled…they just snapped). Suspect screws will be fine for softer wood - but clearly need to match the metal effect.

It came with black wire hooks on a piece of soft wood stained brown. One of the hooks wasn’t straight. Not as described. Disappointing really as all the ironmongery I’d bought was good quality and as described.

I sent this back and asked for a refund because the oak board looked very inferior. It was sort of yellow with a gaudy wood grain on it, and did not look at all like the other oak items I have in my flat. It almost looked like plastic imitating wood. I didn't like the look of the antique brass either. In replacement I bought a different hat and coat rack from Hiatt, chrome on a white board.
Exactly as described, could have done with a smaller screw fixing as was fixing to a board rather than a wall. But other than that, they are very stylish
