- Very good on all counts. This is a common design but quality differs greatly, from supplier to supplier. I'm really pleased with the ones I got from Hiatt Hardware. Although they are probably more commonly used as curtain tieback hooks, we used them for clothes hooks, along one wall. (For hanging worn clothes, not yet ready for the wash). These suited our room design perfectly.

- These are stylish hooks but the two screw holes are close together, leaving only a few mm of brick between the 6mm holes for the wall plugs. If the holes were both on the centreline, they could be further apart. I mounted it OK (I only needed one, but they were sold in pairs), but it was a bit of a nail-biter drilling the second hole. Ref packaging: They were packed in a box that could probably have held 100 of them, with room to spare.
