- The hooks themselves are good quality BUT the screws supplied for fixing were a problem. I was fixing them onto an Oak board, hole were pre-drilled and a steel screw put in first to ‘cut a thread’. Three of the screws supplied sheared off though leaving me the task of drilling them out. It’s a shame that more and more the fixings / ancillaries supplied with ironmongery are of poor quality.

- Bought to make a coat hook mounted on oak. However, when I drilled my first pilot hole the screw head still broke off . The screws supplied are are too thin and a length which is designed to go directly into a wall ( plug supplied ) Moreover, they are not really a good fit for the counter sink. Using a stronger screw meant deepening the counter sink more .
